The City Club at the Majestic originally opened its doors in 1992 when the St. Anthony Club and the San Antonio Club merged together to form the Majestic Club. Now owned and operated by M & SO Holdings LP, the City Club at the Majestic is San Antonio’s newest exclusive dining and business club. Together, owners Manny and Sheri Ortiz, bring 20 years of experience in the private club industry. It is our commitment to our Members, their guests and the city of San Antonio to restore the City Club to its original excellence that the founding members envisioned and to exceed the expectations of our Members.The City Club at the Majestic is located on the third floor of the historical Majestic Building right next door to the Majestic Theatre. The club radiates with its elegant and warm ambiance. Adorned with rich mahogany woods, beautifully upholstered furnishings, marble floors and patterned carpet, silk curtains and soft lighting, the club features one main dining room and a separate bar area connected with a classic soft seating area. The tables in the main dining room are covered with ivory broque linens and set with gold-rimmed fine china, Riedel crystal and beaded silverware.
The main dining room comfortably seats 80 – 120 people and the bar area seats 40 – 60 people. The club can host private events up to 200 people on premises and can cater events greater than 200 people offsite.
